A lazy heron

Looking for more dippers today and I was patiently waiting for a little dipper to stop by some rocks that were still in the sun. Instead a big heron landed. Usually a heron spots you very quickly and flies off in a panic, but this one was oblivious to my presence and it was preening and yawning and made some feeble attempts to catch a fish. After 20 minutes it was spooked by someone and that was just as well, because my battery was almost down and I couldn't move an inch or it would have noticed me. This was probably an immature heron that didn't have the striking long head and throat feathers yet. If you like a heron in full adult plumage, I have one my shop.
